Upholding Safety in Our Faith Community
Overview
The Office for the Protection of Children and Young People oversees both the Office of Safe Environments and the Office of Victims Assistance. We recognize that prevention and healing go hand in hand. Our only work to ensure that the Church is a safe place for all demonstrates our commitment to survivors that their suffering should never be repeated. At the same time the challenge of bringing healing to those harmed is a daily reminder of the importance of our safe environment programs and remaining vigilant in their implementation.
