The Indian Latin Rite Apostolate, coordinated by Rev. Robert Ambalathingal, is a vibrant spiritual community within the Diocese of Brooklyn, catering specifically to the Indian Catholic community. Rooted in rich traditions and language, the Ministry offers a spiritual home for Indian Catholics following the Latin Rite, nurturing their faith in the familiar context of their cultural heritage.
Gatherings for worship and fellowship are held at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Floral Park, providing a space for prayer, celebration, and community building. The Ministry holds regular Masses every Sunday at 5:30 PM and on the second Saturday of each month at 6:30 PM, followed by a time of socialization and fellowship. These gatherings are special opportunities for members to deepen their faith, connect with their roots, and build a supportive community.
The Masses are conducted in Malayalam, allowing parishioners to worship in their native language, enhancing their spiritual experience and connection to their cultural identity. The Indian Latin Rite Ministry not only serves as a place of worship, but also as a cultural hub, where traditions are cherished, and bonds are strengthened.
Whether you’re a long-time member of the Indian Catholic community or new to the area seeking a parish that understands your cultural and spiritual needs, the Indian Latin Rite Ministry welcomes you with open arms. Join us for Mass and become part of a community that values faith, heritage, and fellowship.
