New special introduces those who will be baptized on the Easter Vigil

NET TV is announcing the premiere of a half-hour special airing this Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 7 p.m., on Currents News. The special profiles some of the nearly 700 individuals who are about to become the newest Catholics in the Diocese of Brooklyn. 

These men, women, and families are counting down the days to the Easter Vigil, when they will take their place in the pews. Learn about their journeys to finding their faith, including:

  • Christopher Pena: An Uber driver who chose the road to redemption.

  • Jasmin and Kenwyn Ramroop: A Brooklyn couple who decided to convert to Catholicism after sending their child to Catholic school. 

  • The Chan family: Five young sisters in Queens who chose on their own to join the Catholic faith and their mom, who is now following their lead
