Called to Be Catholic is a bilingual, foundational supplemental program that provides directors, catechists, and parents with all the tools and resources they need to help young people know what it means to be Catholic, spark a desire to further investigate their faith, and grow in their relationship with God.
One of the biggest challenges facing religious educators today is the arrival of young people who need extra help in order to enter the parish faith formation program. The solution to this challenge is Called to Be Catholic, a highly flexible resource that provides young people with a comprehensive introduction to the essentials and key teachings of the four pillars of the Catholic faith.
Jesus once said, “I no longer call you servants, I call you friends.” What a gift to have a friend like Jesus! One of the ways that you can deepen your friendship with Jesus is by learning more about him: what he is most interested in, what his hopes are, what angers him, and what he believes in most deeply. You can also get to know Jesus by learning about the things he said and did. Called to Be Catholic will help you do just that. By learning about Jesus, you will be able to relate to him as a friend and enable that friendship to grow and deepen.
